However, you should check for the composition of the shampoo and avoid using one if it contains harmful chemicals such as, Formaldehyde, Sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), Sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), Diethanolamine (DEA), Triethonalamine (TEA), Dimethicone, Cyclomethicone, Silicone, Parabens and Phthalates.

 

  1. Do not forget to condition your hair after each wash:Conditioning your hair is of utmost importance after every wash. Using a conditioner helps in detangling your hair. A good conditioner locks the moisture in your hair shaft and makes the hair cuticles smooth, leaving your hair soft and silky. Do not use a conditioner which has silicone and other chemicals (which are mentioned in point number 1) in its composition. Do not use conditioner on the roots of your hair. You should start applying the conditioner from the tips towards the base of your hair, leaving the roots and the scalp.
